Integrating Supabase with Resend

Integrating your Supabase project with Resend's email services can enhance your application's email deliverability and provide a more professional touch.

  1. Navigate to Resend Settings

    • Access your Resend account and open the 'Settings' tab.

  2. Supabase Integration Section

    • Select the β€˜Integrations’ sub-tab to find the Supabase option.

  3. Connect to Supabase

    • Click on 'Connect to Supabase' and log in to authorize Resend to access your Supabase account.

  4. Authorize Resend in Supabase

    • Choose the appropriate Supabase project to link with Resend and grant necessary permissions.

  1. Add an API Key

    • Back in Resend, opt to 'Add API key'. You’ll select or add a domain where this API key will be utilized. Resend typically automates the API key generation for authenticated requests.

  2. Configure SMTP Settings

    • Input SMTP details including the sender name and sender email that you want your recipients to see. Resend will provide host, port, and user information.

    • Note: The host, port, user, and password are usually pre-set by Resend for convenience.

  3. Finalize the Integration

    • Review all the information, and click 'Configure SMTP integration' to apply your settings.

  4. Test the Integration

    • As a best practice, send a test email to ensure the setup is correct.

Once these steps are completed, your emails will be sent through Resend using your own branded domain, ensuring consistency and reliability in your email communications.
